This position will:
- Operate cobalt and titanium furnaces in vacuum and inert atmospheres to produce sintered porous metal coatings on medical devices
- Maintain furnaces and porous coating equipment
- Troubleshoot production and process problems
- Specify equipment and work with contractors during installation
- Assist in process validations and qualifications
This position requires:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years or more experience in high temperature furnaces, high vacuum or intert gas operations, plc’s
- Use of measuring and testing equipment
- Knowledge in metal surface preparation and cleaning equipment
